Konyaaltı stretches west of the city centre along a long pebble beach backed by the Taurus Mountains — one of the most photographed views in Antalya. The seafront has a beach park, promenade and cycle path, Antalya Aquarium and plenty of restaurants, and the cable car up Tünektepe hill is at its western end. It combines a beach holiday with city life.
Antalya Airport to Konyaalti: the drive
Although Konyaaltı is part of the city, it is on the opposite side from the airport, so the drive crosses Antalya along the main boulevards or the coastal road. Allow a little more time than for Lara, especially in the late afternoon and on summer weekends when the beach road is busy.
